Having read this thread and the other one on the subject, it looks to me like Century was simply importing parts guns. The haphazard way in which they were packed corroborates this. Weapons for direct sale are normally packed quite a bit more carefully, and definetely NOT piled up in a heap. Even illicit guns are treated better, particularly since the recipient, if unsatisfied at what he sees, might indicate his dissatisfaction by killing you.

Century probably ordered "parts guns", plus the Mausers and SKS's, from some source that didn't take very good care to pack them, knowing that they'd be used for parts.

At least, that's my take. What say you guys?

Just to compare, these are rifles as received by Aztec for resale.

Certainly the Turks are probably not packed as nice as these "rearsenaled" mosins but they aren't usually in a jumble.

Aztec has these 91/30s at a great price too.
