TBM,

Maybe this is the type of thing that should be in a press release (phone call?) to John McCaslin of the WashTimes, the Hill, and/or other papers?

Banned for buying books? This sounds like something out of Seinfeld.

Plus, remember when Hillary was on the Tonight Show? She made a big deal of telling Jay Leno that the protestors never came into the book store. Hillary said something like: "The protestors stay across the street and shout."

She acted as though the protestors were too scared to peaceably protest her in person. Instead, we were respecting the book store's private property and the First Amendment rights of Hillary and her worshipers by avoiding disruption.

I think there is an element of racism when a store won't let a bl;ack man buy more than two books. What's next? Not letting black people know how to read?

Was it Books A Million who made that racist deciision or Hillary?

Further to my reply #133 below is the partial transcript that Kristinn made from Hillary's comments about the protestors during her Tonight Show appearance last August.

Hillary mocked protestors for staying across the street and not buying her book. Then, when TBM buys two of her books, her security goes after him for no good reason.

---PARTIAL TRANSCRIPT FROM AUGUST 2003 HILLARY TONIGHT SHOW APPEARANCE

JAY LENO (J): Well how about like, cuz whenever any political person, and especially you show up, there's always the crazy people. I mean there must be that one sort of guy who waits in line because he wants to say something nasty when he gets up. And he's actually bought a book so he can give his, I mean, does, has that happen, do you fear that?

HILLARY (H): That hasn't happened yet.

J: Oh, okay.

H: That hasn't happened yet. But what has happened is that they can't bring themselves to buy the book so they stand out, across the street yelling at me (Hillary gestures outward)

J: Laughs

H: That's fine, that's all part of the First Amendment and everything. But they don't, they don't actually buy the book and come through to yell at me.

J: Okay, so they're not that committed.

H: Not that committed. No, I think they're sorta lukewarm about it after all

J: For most it would be the first book they've ever bought.

H: Or read. (Hillary beams, she made a funny!)
