As the talking heads are fond of phrasing it - it has not been a good week for CBS.

Does CBS have any feet left to shoot?

Is this the same CBS that turned down the chance to show Passion Of The Christ because it was "too violent?"

It was accompanied by a voiceover from French doctor Frederick Maillez, who arrived at the crash scene at the Pont d'Alma tunnel and gave emergency first aid to the princess. He told viewers Diana's face was not injured and 'she still looked beauti ful' as he desperately tried to save her life. Not exactly reassuring to note her beauty, when the doc should have been monitoring, oh, vitals (instead of the status of her lip gloss). Btw, I remember criticisms of the (French) method of triage--ie, trying to do too much at the scene, instead of transporting to a truama center. Med evacs helicopters are not commonplace as here.

It's Bush's fault.

Yes. Richard Clarke and Bob Kerrey have both said he could have prevented it.

Yes. Richard Clarke and Bob Kerrey have both said he could have prevented it. Don't forget Bob Woodward. He heard someone say Bush could have prevented it ...

I hope the British people are wise to See BS. They will stoop to ANY low. I am ashamed to say this is an American TV network. They are SCUM!

CBS has no respect for anyone or anything. There is absolutely no need to show these pics. I guess this is their way of getting back at Tony Blair for aligning himself with President Bush

This is inexcusable and appalling, and unfortunately it's not the most inexcusable and appalling thing about CBS. Just when you think the American "Mainstream Press" has hit rock bottom, like the Democrat Party it inexcusably and appallingly supports, it manages to sink even lower.

Don't forget Bob Woodward. He heard someone say Bush could have prevented it ...Actually, Woodward interviewed her in the car for 3 hours while she was dying.

A new low for a major networkEach time I think See BS can't get any lower, they do! The Princess was respected by Americans too! Let her rest in peace.

A new low for a major network. Of course, you meant "ANOTHER new low for a major network," right?
