"Rack it" has been used a lot by Jim Rome on his Sports Talk Show.

Where does that phrase come from, what part of the country. I just presumed that it came from the lingo created by sportstalk radio legend Jim Rome, who says "Rack it!" when a caller makes a entertaining or well-thought out contribution. The "racked" calls are thus nominated to be the "Huge Call of the Day," and that call is replayed at the end of the program.
At least, that was the way it worked back when I listened to the Rome show. I haven't in years.
