It's the only way I can feel like a part of this. If I were younger I would be over there fighting.

Okay, the box is packed and I'm on my way to the Post Office...or UPS, whichever one is still open.

Thanks to you both for this opportunity!

Also in this package are 10 M&M's, 10 Kitkats, 1 pks of 8 pks crackers with cheese and 1 pk of 8 pks. crackers with peanut butter. This was mailed priority.

Your supply is cheaper. Mine cost 1.98 a pair because they didn't have cartons left at the only place I could locate quickly, only loose single packs.

Looks like the FReepers are starting to come through for this emergency appeal for toiletries, snacks, underwear, etc for our wounded in Iraq.
It makes sense they would have run out considering the unexpectly high number of wounded this month.
God bless our troops and please protect those still in the field.

I freepmailed to find out where I could help.
I also, went to www.hanes.com, and sent this message to them:
Hi, I was recently surfing the Internet and came upon an article requesting help for wounded soldiers in the Middle East. In the article, the wives of some of the soldiers indicated that the injured service men and woman are in desperate need of underwear (among other things).
In the article, the posters are collecting goods such as razors, toiletries, comfort foods for our heroes.
I noticed there was a pointed comment that the men and woman have a serious need for fresh under clothing. Now, we can do a lot and we will, but Hanes, .... you could solve that little problem. In the big complicated business of fighting for freedom, perhaps we overlook the little things.
I know you have a huge marketing department and every good deed has to be considered but if a pallet or two (or a dozen) of your great product were to find it's way to the these men (and women) who need us now, it would do a lot of good.
Thank-you for your consideration.
