I was listening to NPR this morning (I am insomniac and it is the only entertainment at 3am California time); One of the Kalb brothers was on this morning talking about the problems at USA Today and with the NY Times making up stories. Kalb ended his interview with wasn't it a shame that the present administration could not take responsibility like the fine editors at those (I paraphrase here)rags did, admit the errors of their sins and impale themselves.

It does look as if the Left has gotten to the foot-stamping stage in demanding George Bush do a Clarke apology and overlook Clinton's (and Gorelick's) fingerprints.
