There's talk maybe the annulment wasn't granted...

I read an article recently from 2003 that Kerry refused to confirm it. The piece pointed out that other references said Kerry "sought" an annulment but never said outright that it had been granted, then Kerry refused to say it had.

I was one who did not want to go there---until I read the issue is murky like that.

I'll post it if I can find it again. Before that I argued to drop the annulment angle and any criticism about his religious affiliation was his abortion stance (which a caller brought up today!).

The main reason I've read for Kerry pursuing the annulment was because his new wife, who is a practicing Catholic wanted to be able to take part in all the cermonies associated with the Catholic Church.
