The 4-million member gun owners' rights group offered its first online broadcast Friday afternoon -- an initial volley in an effort to become both a news organization and talk-radio presence.
"Creating this is our way of saying the NRA will not be silenced. It is designed to circumvent the campaign-finance restrictions, which would bar us from communicating to our members before elections," said NRA spokeswoman Kelly Hobbs.

Can't they just form a 527 like the Left is doing?

Can't they just form a 527 like the Left is doing? IIRC, those entities have to be organized as non-profit organizations. The NRA isn't. They would have to form a Political Action Committee. I could be wrong. Any corrections are welcome. I'm no lawyer.

If they stream online, I'd buy some ad time. I'm running radio ads in San Diego this month, and they can be heard on KOGO 600's live streaming audio once every two hours. They sound pretty cool, with the gunshot and helicopter sound effects. I'd for sure run them on NRA streaming radio.
