Iran is blamed for backing the Shiites. American troops tangle with insurgents coming in from Syria. Saudi Arabia allies economically and politically with agreements between themselves and Iran and Syria. Iran has sheltered and protected Al Qaeda members.

Saudis finance the Madrassas in the region including Pakistan and supports the Muslim mosques and schools in the United States. Why am I not surprised that Iran is encouraging insurrection in Iraq? Why am I not also surprised that some of these nations are our allies in the war against terrorism? It seems that business interests and the profits therefrom are really more important than fighting terrorism.
