Father stuck paying child support, even though son lives with him

Nothing would happen because dad is so broke from making child-support payments and paying the additional cost of having a child living in the house with him that he can't afford the attorney fees associated with fighting such a battle. Sometimes you just have to choose your battles.

If the mother had any character at all, she'd turn over most or all of the money back to the father. But I suppose it's too much to expect some people to do the right thing.

Martin is probably a sore loser. And again, the party line here is all men get screwed; the men are never at fault or scum. Only the mothers go out to bars and blow the child support. Only the mothers shack up. Only the mothers are poor parents.

Maybe if this guy in the story would have taken care of his first marriage, he wouldn't be supporting 2 households. He probably found something "better" and moved on. Guess what men, there are consequences to the "if it looks better, it must be better" attitude.

Thanks for clearing that up. I completely understand. I personally know a few men like that. They are very irritating. No wonder they can't get a woman to stick around.
