Had TWA 800 been called a terrorist shootdown as Clinton had first been quoted as stating, attention to terrorism would have become a top priority long ago. The security would have most likely thwarted the twin towers.
No, instead everyone rallied to the tune of James Kallstrom and his mythical sideshow despite radar tracking ATC controllers, several hundred witnesses, and people who had to steal sections of seats in order to get NMR, Mass Spec, and Gas Chroatograph analysis done(of course regardless of the tests, you arrest and imprison those investigators)
...and not to totslly change the subject, but what about the Egypt air that the pilot crashed into to sea? No one ever called that terrorism. Wonder if Jamie Gorelick shut that one down too?
