Although you are right, I would bet the Israelis have a very good idea who the new guy is, I think the ambiguity opens an even better option. They should start killing the whole senior leadership of this terrorist organization. At least the top 20 or 30 or 50 leaders.

I agree. Then what is Hamas going to say when the new head loses his head? Complain that Israel killed their leader? Then they'd simply have new target on their hands. Deny that the next Yassassination, targeted their leader? Insist that he was some no-name Hamas rank and file terrorist? Oh well then, "better luck" next time, IDF.

I'd really like to see Israel do second strikes on these incinerated cars, just to make sure. That is, after the crowd of "mourners" has gathered. A two minute delay ought to be enough.
