Sounds like there is the need for a Black Jack Pershing to arise.

I imagine the terrs will be given a pass, now. LE will be told not to go after them, the new administration will probably put their own people into key positions to protect the terrs. They'll probably pass legislation that will aid the terrs, allowing them to set up shop and operate freely. Does Spain have rightwing 'extremists' to blame in place of scrutinizing terrorists?

Let me guess. A boy scout troop? A Methodist choir? A group of Swedish Tourists? Some vampire killers?
My oh my, WHO could POSSIBLY have done this???
I'm at a total loss.

Only Mohammedans or their unholy allies, the self-loathing anti-authoritarian Far Left are capable of this atrocity. I honestly don't think that the new Spanish PM, Mohammed Zapatero, will do anything to fight his masters. Hopefully he is going to prove me wrong... (though very unlikely!)

Gee, removing their troops from Iraq sure did work, didn't it? Maybe they just need to pay the terrorists off with the new Spanish peseta...

I have good reason to believe, through many contacts in Spain and France, that there is an undercurrent of rage against the Islamofascists in those countries. It is reaching white heat is just about to break out into the open.
This will be in spite of the media-slave majority's continued support for surrender and degradation at the hands of the Islamic rape-gangs.
Some Europeans retain the capacity to think for themselves and for these, enough is enough and the limit has been reached.
In particular, there are quite a few soldiers and police who would like nothing better than to get to grips with an armed Islamo mob rampaging through one of their cities.
The Islamos, for their part, are drunk with victory and bloodlust. As always among ignorant and violent populations, this leads to hubris. The abject dhimmitude of the Euro political and media elite would naturally lead the Islamos to believe that they can get away with anything. In their ignorance, they interpret recent events as Allah's favor and proof of their own invincibility. This will soon burst forth in mass violence as they seek total dominance.
The Islamos are quite wrong, of course, but weakness has incited them and there is no solution other than to let events take their course.
The killing time is almost here for the Euros, and it will dwarf anything seen so far during this war.
The French in particular invariably counsel restraint for others, but are notably unwilling to show it themselves when the line is crossed.
A senior officer of the French Gendarmerie told me recently that he and his people are quite willing to use machine guns and even artillery against Islamic mobs if it comes to that, and he fully expects that it will---very soon.

I hope that when and if payback time comes, the politicos in Washington will keep their mouths shut and look the other way. I'm sure most Republicans will, but liberals are liberals, whether in the U.S., Spain, France or Germany.

I don't know beans about the Spanish constitutuon, but I'm hoping they will snap out of this and recall Tapazero.
It is like they've painted a big bull's eye on their forehead with their election and now with this troop removal they are holding up an arrow that says shoot here.

Thanks to livius for translating the gory details left out by the squeamish press. Wouldn't want to know the truth about jihadis, would they?
Before burning his body...
"trasladado fuera de la tumba 700 metros en carretilla, y le clavaron un pico en la cabeza y una pala en el pecho."
...it was taken in a wheelbarrow about 700 meters from the tomb, and they dug a pickaxe into his head and stuck a shovel in his chest...
