In Massachusetts this is Patriots Day, a day to remember and salute those American Patriots who have served, fought and died for the liberties we enjoy today.
For those of us not on the front lines, it is also a way to show other countries one of the ways Americans resolve their differences and relieve societal tension without resorting to hatred and violence IOW, by watching the Red Sox beat the goresucking yankees.
So please take some time today to remember American Patriots past and most certainly present. Lets say a prayer for our troops and show the rest of the world (once again) how a civilized country works.
My prediction: Sox take it easy and beat yanks 13-0, jeter and lex share a sad moment and Steinbrenner fires Torre.

LOL!
But before the smack talk begins between the two greatest teams ever- let us indeed take a moment to reflect on the violence that is taking lives of both Americans and Iraqis on a daily basis . . .
PLAY BALL!!!!!!!!!!!

I think my thread title has scared all the yankee boys away, they must realize it is prophetic and don't want to come out and play.

Typical Red Sox's. They win the first two games in the series, then they will collapse and lose the last two. I can never understand the Red Sox fan optimism. Its like seeing the same movie hoping the outcome will change. Face it, the Bambino will never let the Yanks lose to the Red Scum.

At least we're winning.

Awww, the announcer just said what little lexie needed was a hug, and then lexie struck out. Maybe jeter will give him that hug, ha ha ha.

For the cubicle bound, Yankees went down weakly in the top of the first, Red Sox DH Ortiz hit a two out double, jeter finally managed to cleanly snag an easy groundball to short to get the final out.
Yankees fans breathe a sigh of relief. Sheffield up for top of the second.

LOL.
Comparing the relative greatness of the NY Yankees to that of the Botox, I mean Bosox, is like comparing the greatness of the US military to that of, say, the French military. Like, they have won a war (a world series) but there is no one alive who remembers it because it was so long ago. I've been hearing sox fans saying "this is the year" for about the last 10 or so. How many series appearances? Series wins?
I am horrified by the attempting of the sox to ride on the coat-tails of the yankess.
BTW. Go Orioles (currently the sole occupants of 1st place in the AL East). I dislike the yanks and the sox immensely (sour grapes style).

Yanks up 3-0. Ha, Ha, Ha.

The Boston Marathon does not start until noon.
To: dmz
Look at the stats. The team that trails the Yanks in stats (by minuscule margins) is always the Red Sox.
