I'm watching the movie for the umpteenth time and remembered your thread about Julie Moore passing away. Question ... has there ever been any Presidential notice of Mrs. Moore's role on the home front? I pray that time is not too short for that to happen.

.

The only recognition here for Mrs. JULIE MOORE's Heroism during our Battle of IA DRANG-1965 was when President BUSH saw a Preview of "WE WERE SOLDIERS" in the presence of MOORE, CRANDALL, MEL and RANDALL in the White House.

RANDALL WALLACE's stirring hymn 'Mansions of the Lord' that concludes "WE WERE SOLDIERS" has now been adopted by the REAGAN Presidential Lilbrary as 'The REAGAN Recessional' Hymn that concluded REAGAN's Washington National Cathedral Funeral Service to the acclaim of many.

GOD is Good.
