Oh this makes me terribly sad. This lady actually gave me great comfort second hand once. The world has lost a very wise woman.

Without doubt, another of God's angels. One of mercy and love and compassion.
Ronnie, please pass on to Gen. Moore that a nation grieves with him. Candles will be lit.

We must not only remember the sacrafice of our veterans, but of the veteran's families also. They too have given up much for all of our freedoms. Everyday that passes we must find just one veteran and say thank you. That veteran might be the guy who pumps your gas and looks a bit on the derelict side. But when he turns to you, you see the emblem and and the words "Veteran" on his hat. He may even had a medal pinned on it too. Or he might be the guy behind you at the drive-up window at your favorite coffee shop and you notice the "V" on his license plate, maybe accompianed by the purple heart symbol. Reach into your pocket, and give the cashier and extra 2 bucks to pay for the guy behind you. Tell the cashier to tell him, "Thanks for his service to our country". I have done this more than once, and I can't tell you what a wonderful expression the veteran has when he gets the news. For us to have so much, many have given up so much.
In order to keep our lives and the war on terror in perspective, we need to read just one story a week about our servicemen and women in Irag, Afghanistan, or the difficult stories about 9/11.
Please, do not forget.
