LOS ANGELES High-profile attorney Johnnie Cochran Jr. will temporarily curtail his work while recuperating from an undisclosed neurological condition, his publicist said.
Cochran's family has requested the nature of his condition remain private, publicist Bill Baker said Friday.
The condition is not life-threatening and Cochran is expected to make a full recovery, Baker said.
Cochran, 66, is best known for representing former football star O.J. Simpson during his trial on murder charges in the stabbing deaths of his wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ronald Goldman.
Simpson was acquitted.

I've met Johnny Cochran on a couple of occasions. He is a real personable guy. Down to earth and has a good sense of humor. While I disagree with the whole OJ affair, you can bet Johnny would be my first call should I ever need someone of his stature.

does having your head up your ass count as a neurological condition?

And easier to rhyme than "neurological." Pathological?
Scatological?

Sounds like he had a stroke. Perhaps brought on by a sudden acquisition of a conscience? Ah, probably not on second thought.

Perhaps brought on by a sudden acquisition of a conscience? Ah, probably not on second thought.Yes, that pesky conscience grew back and had to be surgically removed. Had it remained, he would have qualified as disabled in the legal profession.

This flim flam artist will never have "by a sudden acquisition of a conscience".
Like his buddies Je$$e HiJack$on and OJ, they have never had a conscience and never will.
