jmstein7, thanks for these resources. The newspaper one didn't work for me the first time I tried it, but it did this time. Sometimes my computer behaves in strange and mysterious ways.
I'm pinging Jim and John to this too, because I wonder if it might be a good idea to put resources like these on a page of their own? During the impeachment and the election fiascos, I believe Freepers made a difference in doing this sort of thing (writing, faxing, calling). I love reading the news, but Free Republic is at its best when it does something concrete--like writing, faxing, and calling. (And Kristinn and folks, I'm in awe of the work you do!!)

Why shut this commission down? These Dems, Clinton holdovers and RINOs are hanging themselves faster than a battalion of Republican lawyers could.

Just keep calling the commision haopelessly partisan and the the dems on it are desparately trying to manufacture an issue where there is none, in an election year.
unfortunately repubs are too dim or timid to that, as usual.

You're somewhat on the crabby side tonight?"
It's a violence thing. Those that choose to use violence, or the threat of violence, to acheive a certain outcome in politics or other 'social' arguments. They really 'hit a nerve' with me.
Consider the "victim' in the Kobe Bryant case getting death threats because she had the audacity to charge an NBA star with rape. She receives threats by those idiots that feel killing her will help their 'star' Kobe get away with a crime. Those that wish physical harm to Gorelick fit the same mold - as well as those that condone the use/threat of violence to 'shut her up'.
Violence is not the answer & I hate when people take it so lightly. That's just one of my 'old hippy' nerves acting up.

Thanks for the Ping! And I'm bookmarking the thread for the "how to."
BTW, the Bush campaign contribution check .gif in your post is outstanding!
