A serial sex offender in Maryland was released a few years ago.
He was "retarded" and got a light sentence.
Within days of his release, he lured a beautiful little boy out of a Frederick, MD 7-11 into a nearby Little League dugout, sodomized him and then beat him to death with a baseball bat.
The cameras in the 7-11, along with witnesses positively ID-ed him.
The local papers focused on his "retardism", ad nauseum.
I have no idea what the state ever did with/to him.

I know what I think he's needing.

May this pretty young woman rest in peace. May this Rodriquez creep be damned to hell for what he did to Dru and to her family and friends. I just pray her last minutes were not too brutal.

How sad for the family of that precious little child who was taken advantage of in the most horrendous way possible. I know he is in the arms of the Lord.

As for the perp...he should have been punished to the max the first time. Anytime anyone attacks a child it should be the max punishment. No child deserves that kind of abuse and brutality.

Given my choice, I choose on the side of the children NOT the perp no matter HOW SICK someone says he is. If he is that sick he shouldn't be out and about in the first place.

Oh, I know. It's soooooo terrible to think about. However, if more people would put themselves in the shoes of the person, child being attacked and brutalized maybe they would look differently upon the perp and justice would be done.

One can only imagine what that poor girl went through and how her thoughts of family must have been with her through it all as well.

I get so agonizingly angry over things like this. The whole thing...bottom line is NO ONE...NO ONE has a right to kidnap, abduct, victimize, assault or put their hands on anyone. Nor should they ever enter a home where they have not been invited. THEY are the PERPS! THEY are the ones breaking the law. THEY are the ones who should be punished. Instead they are the ones who are pitied and then they write books and make $$$ off the crime they commited. It's disgusting, sickening and has to stop.

I agree. I say they should have a trial and if found guilty excuted in 7 days in the same manner that they took the life. This would reduce crime by my way of thinking.

Liberals say "it takes a village to raise a child".
I say turn the perp loose in the public square and let the same village avenge them.
Fair is fair.
If that sounds "heartless", too bad....:)

I understand child molestors only too well and what *I* would do to them can't be posted in polite company.

Those that don't physically kill their victims, effectively "murder" them nonetheless.

The damage they do never, -ever- 'goes away'.

I've no doubt her parents will ponder that very question for the rest of their lives.
I can't imagine a greater sorrow for a parent.
