So Kerry is now having to manufacter these "attacks on his patriotism." If he keeps it up, he is going to make himself look even more foolish and rather paranoid.
And you are quite right...what would we think if President Bush were out attacking Terry McAuliffe?
So Kerry is now having to manufacter these "attacks on his patriotism." If he keeps it up, he is going to make himself look even more foolish and rather paranoid.Bush should use this in the debates. He should say:
"Look, Monsieur Kerry, I did not question your patriotism. I pointed out that you voted against every major weapons system, that you voted for the nuclear freeze and that you voted against the 87 billion. But please notice that I did not point out how you sided with communists in the 1970s, called all US soldiers war criminals and hung out with Jane Fonda.
"Where in my ads have I mentioned any of that?
"It's unfair of you to say that I've accused you of being unpatriotic, because throughout this entire campaign, I haven't said a word about your behavior in the 1970s."
