I am a born again believer and I am not forced to say any of these things when I "choose" to pray.

Check out Matthew: "After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen."

"Check out Matthew:"

I've covered that passage a few times in my reading. Christ was giving the disciples the general pattern of prayer, not encouraging them to specifically recite that prayer. This is how unlearned individuals misinterpret Scripture. They read a passage, but without understanding the background and context of the setting, will generally not understand the intent of the author.
