Been asking myself that for years. The party of abortionists [genocide] and gun control [WWII]. I guess they either have no brain, or very short memories.

I'm not trying to give excuses, but

It is really quite easy to answer this if you can understand life from the Jewish perpective.

You see the Christian right supports Jews, but Jews have been taught not to trust Christians. In case you haven't noticed the pogroms and inquisitions and the holocausts and so forth have been historicaly stamped with a "Christian" flavor to them.

So they kind of have the mentality that a child would have who has been told not to accept candy from strangers. And they go about searching to make up something that will help them from another source, which sadly cannot be found.
