Did anyone know that Katie lost her husband to cancer? I read a story about her in the latest Reader's Digest and apparently her husband had a bout with cancer and died. Not to feel sorry about her political stance and her constant criticism of the Republicans, but she is probably out of touch with the real world.

(I don't know how any Christian can go to church on Sunday and vote for a democrat on Tuesday.)

That was what inspired her to have a colonoscopy on television.
He died of colon cancer.
As far as her being out of touch.....well, I'm not sure that's what did it.
It is bizarre the effect B. Clinton had on people. Especially women. I am a woman and I feel nothing but disgust, but for some, it is almost like some weird mind control.
Maybe they hypnotised everyone at a rally or press conference or something. (j/k)

She was probably "out of touch" long before she lost her husband.

couric lost her husband a number of years ago to colon cancer. She had a colonoscopy on live TV after that. So we know this a$$hole inside & out.

Katie was a socialist long before her husband ever got cancer. I'm a cancer survivor myself, so I don't make light of it. She's actually been effective as an advocate for getting the appropriate tests, including her own on-air colonoscopy.
Her sister Emily ~at the time a Virginia State Senator ~ also died a couple of years ago from cancer.
Cancer sux. I wouldn't wish it on anybody.

(More people have died in Ted Kennedy's car than in this tagline.)

Yes but there are many people who have lost loved ones to cancer and not turned into pathetic, hate-filled people. Only a Democrat would think this gives her a pass and a reason to be horrible. Poor victim Katie! Also, why should it have an impact on her being in touch with the real world?
