I am glad he got this award. I have always kind of felt sorry for him! Here he goes and just shares this amazing invention with the world and didn't become a Bill Gates or anyone else- just kind of there in obscurity.

I first used the internet around 1986 when I transferred files from my university to a colleague in Israel.
It was a bit of a pain and involved batch jobs under VMS.
It worked, but the WWW and hyperlinks sure makes it easier!

The prize committee on Thursday said Berners-Lee's contribution strongly embodied the spirit of the award, given "for an innovation that directly promotes people's quality of life makes hardcore porn available to people, is based on humane values unrestricted porn porn porn, and encourages sustainable economic development lots and lots of porn for all."
