What's the alternative? The alternative is to get it right the first time. It's not as if they didn't know they had too few troops to occupy Iraq. The Generals told them and the Secdef and Deputy shut them up. So all of these holdouts were allowed to wait for the time of their choosing to mount an offensive, and thousands of foreign terrorists were allowed to march across unwatched borders. The President should have listened to his Generals, not his beurocrats.
