Chairman Kean, who has allowed the public hearings of the commission to descend into a circus, needs to remember who he works for. His comments yesterday demanding that the American people and their elected representatives stay out of our business is reprehensible and arrogant beyond belief.
And a Republican at that! These people need to get a clue - they are supposed to be servants of us, not we of them.

"His comments yesterday demanding that the American people and their elected representatives stay out of our business is reprehensible and arrogant beyond belief." This is arrogant beyond belief, and it falls in the "let them eat cake" category. The commission is allegedly trying to find answers, in a nonpartisan way, to explain what went wrong on 9/11. Now, if the commission is funding this out of their own pockets, then fine, they can tell us to get lost. But, since it IS taxpayer funded, then the TAXPAYERS must be assured that the panel will be nonpartisan and genuinely interested in getting at the truth. With the chairman defending a Clinton partisan, and telling the people to buzz off, any chance of convincing the people that this is an honest commission has evaporated. Just shut it down. It is a fraud and has nothing further of any value to learn.

Kean is not a Republican (at least not one I recognize).
