I called Saxby Chambliss's Washington office yesterday asking for him to support the Sensenbrenner demand of Gorelick's resignation. The girl that answered said Senator Chambliss "doesn't plan on doing anything about Gorelick".
I faxed a scathing letter to the Senator this morning. At least Zell's office seemed interested when I called.
I was at my 6 year olds soccer practice last night and all the parents were talking about the 9/11 commission and Gorelick. I wrote Chambliss the negative reaction the other parents had to his answer to me.
Interestingly enough the GA GOP sent a donation request to me this morning. I mailed back to them a note saying "I don't have any plans on doing anything about donations to the GA GOP" (I also let Chambliss know this)

They were somewhat more courteous with me just now...I told the woman who answered the phone that I wanted Senator Chambliss to publicly call for the resignation of Ms. Gorelick from the 9/11 Commission and she said she would pass the message on to the Senator.
Maybe they're getting inundated...one can only hope.

I wonder if Sensenbrenner could call a hearing and subpoena Gorelick as a witness? I am afraid Kean and the Commission are going to ignore all the calls for Gorelick's resignation and just tough it out.
