The sad part is many of the Canadians I know (mostly "easterners", but not necessarily Quebec'ers) truly believe that implying in any form that homosexual behavior is anything but completely normal and acceptable IS hatespeech. They're mostly under 40 and have grown up being taught that homosexuality is normal. Sad.
