Taxpayers are footing the bill, Mr. Kean. It's not a private club.
Jamie is being protected by Mr. Kean. He says it is none of the publics business!

Jamie Gorelick was not a "legislator", she was and is a Clinton stooge whose sole purpose was to protect THEM, not the country.

Keep spinning. I'm absolutely loving this! It's Hilarious!

He's protecting her because he knows keeping her there makes the commission look more partisan! And when you consider the actions of the liberals last week with Condi, you just know the American public is going to side with sanity. Keeping her on makes the dems look LESS credible- and more partisan- with their conclusions. If they want this to be political- then so be it! Keep her on the commission!

Wow! Good spin! Take the heat off of Ashcroft, pin the blame on a mostly anonymous legislator who wrote a memo that no one will bother to read. Then get "Morris the Merc" to take a giant dump on her in the press.Take the "heat off" of Ashcroft? Exactly what heat would that be?
As to "nobody bothered to read" it, it was a classified document written by the Deputy AG, NOT an anonymous legislator, making it a firing offense to violate this rule. Those with that power certainly read it and enforced it.

The fact this Commission has turned into a complete farce is the public's business.Yes. And except for the waste of money, time and subsequent expense of having to reform another commission, the whole stupid lot of them should be disbanded.
Gorelick and the circus commission is hoping this will die down by next week and the public will forget about it. The media will be more than glad to try to help us all forget about it.

Nothing to explain, this is a classic switch play. Ashcroft (and by extension Bush and Justice) was taking a beating and so they pulled up this memo from 1995 and dropped all the blame in the lap of a member of the comission who is also a Democrat! This is great! I'm laughing my ass off here!

I'm furious about this. I called my Congressman Ed Shrock and Senators George Allen and John Warner and told them that I expected them to support James Sensenbrenner and call for Gorelick's immediate removal from this commission. I'm writing all 3 of them letters and sending e-mails tonight. I won't get off this one until she's gone.
Morris is absolutley right...she is responsible for alot of the disconnect in the FBI and she should be help accountable.

Blah... If you can't see that this is our side making a great play, then nuts to you.
To: InvisibleChurch
Rarely do this ... however, I sent an e-mail today to my U.S. Senator asking that he demand (hopefully in concert with other Republican Senators) Ms. Jamie Gorelick be removed immediately from the 9-11 Commission. She should be a witness explaining her role leading up to 9-11, not on the Commission asking the questions.

This is great! I'm laughing my ass off here! You don't understand the position (not a "legislator") of who wrote the memo, the fact that it does in fact exist and was not made up, it was classified and it was a standard that required agents to follow guidelines.
You have yet to explain what "heat" or "beating" Ashcroft or Bush were justifiably or deservedly taking.
Laugh away, but it is clueless laughter from one whose opinion is misinformed and therefore worthless.
