I hear (Radio Canada) that PETA is active on Canada's left coast (Vancouver).
The left has never really been a friend to PETA.They mostly view it as a racist group who target 3rd worlders and minority groups.Outside of America,PETA support is much more likely to come from the right.In fact,many of the far-right groups advocate a vegetarian diet including Church Of The Creator.This might have something to do with Hitler's beliefs about keeping a clean body,no-smoking,no-drinking,no-meat etc.PETA is far from left-wing,look at one of their biggest contributors,uber-conservative anti-islamic Bridget Bardot.
