'because the minute a radical Moslem power has atomic, chemical or biological weapons, they will use it. I have no doubt about that.'
Incorrect, otherwise good text.
The Muslims will use these WMD to blackmail the West so their silent jihad in the west will continue and they can multily like RATS and take over every democracy untilo they are strong enough to use all their weapons openly.

I seriously think this is the true case ... I wish it were not so, but history, especially recent history testifies otherwise ...

Sobering. What has kick started Islamic power in the last 100 years? The discovery of oil and its use by the West.

while the West developed universities and business and socially free cultures, Islam could no longer wage war with tribal armies and horses ...
but with petro-dollars-euro-dollars-etc-money, they have begun to purchase advanced military hardware ... Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have some very fine equipment ... and while Saddam could never match Israel, he at one time had an army that might have been a challenge for smaller nations ... he was like the 5th largest armed forces at one time IIRC ... and his troops had recent battle experience with Iran, where Iran's losses were nearly 10-to-1 against the Iraqis ...

When the west recognizes that Islam is NOT a religion but a political philosophy in the same vein as Communism, Fascism, Capitalism and so forth then the war can actually be joined.

We in the West seem intent upon deluding ourselves concerning the intrinsic nature of Islam. It's as if, well, if we say it often enough "it's a religion of peace, it's a religion of peace" that somehow, someway it will just go away and we can all live happily ever after.
I couldn't agree more with the author, wherever there is Islam there is war. There may be interludes of peace, but those interludes are strictly tactical in nature. That much is apparent from their source documents as well as history. I'm not certain what it will take for us to understand this fact, I only hope and pray we do so before it is too late.

Thanks for the ping. I agree with the comments that Islam is not a religion anymore. It's a radical, violent movement that seeks to destroy Israel first and formost, and then eventually get the rest of the world to fall in line.

A very sobering analysis by someone who knows what he's talking about.

I believe the adherents of Islam like to refer to it as a "religion of peace".
To: KDD
Who coined that phrase..."Islam is a religion of peace"? Don't know, but George Bush repeated it after 911.
To: miltonim
A war between civilizations? No. A war between human civilization and bloodthirsty primitive misogynistic barbarism.

but with petro-dollars-euro-dollars-etc-money, they have begun to purchase advanced military hardware ... Well, we pretty much proved in Iraq that off-the-shelf military establishments are no match for the real thing , where new equipment is integrated with doctrine, C3I and logistical support. The Chinese are getting there (with occasional help from Loral, Hughes Aerospace, and William Jefferson Clinton, unindicted co-conspirator), but the third-world military establishments, despite Sandhurst training and oodles of French and ex-Sov armament (and in the case of Iran, British Shir Iran tanks and U.S. F-4's and F-14A's), are just expensive card-houses for the most part.
That said, I agree, if they ever get nuclear weapons they'll use them. They'll try to use them deniably, ambiguously, and leave no traces. They'll wage asymmetrical stealth war in which every U.S. intelligence failure costs us a city. That's what they'd like to do -- nuclear blackmail, made credible by humiliating nuclear atrocities.
The British Empire was doomed by newsreel footage of Japanese troops leading British military and naval personnel -- and women -- into captivity. International relations is like street cred. You're only as good as your last contest. We lost more than we know yet on 9/11, and the enemy are still gloating. Most Americans don't get it yet, and the ones who do are all closedmouthed about it, since they don't want to cop to the enemy's bragging rights.
