Call them - this is the kind of statement that we MUST respond to.
They have completely discredited themselves!

Marking commission contact information for when I compose my thoughts...
Thank you for providing it.
To: redlipstick
I will do that. How late can I call? I may have to wait until morning because it's time to prepare dinner. However, I will contact them. And maybe my Congresscritters, too.

Oil Slick IMMEDIATELY shut him up when he said "travelgate."

I'm marking this spot, too. :)

They have no business doing this investigation during an election year AND during the time of WAR...

I don't know if they leave a comment line open overnight, but you can always email them. I emailed them last night, about Gorelick, and I got a receipt - so I know they got it, but I don't know if they actually read it.

That's only 2 blocks away from where I live. Should I make faces on the window?

...They deserve as much probing as the people they are scrutinizing...
More so, as they put so many of these ropes that bound the intelligence community that prevented them from doing their jobs.
ALL: (I hope it's permissible to post to two threads)
Here are some material questions for Gorelick:
1) Who authorized you to prepare and write this memorandum and why?
2) If you indeed initiated and authored this memorandum, why did you do it?
3) With whom did you vet this memorandum?
4) In light of continuing terrorist attacks against our interests, including the USS Cole, why did you not rescind your memo?
Commissioner Keane - we're making it our business!

Anybody find out the date of the Gorelick memo?

FNC just talked about how Kean defended Gorelick completely and says he doesn't even think it's a valid concern that she resign!

Sensenbrenner was just on FNC and was very articulate. Good for him.
Rush said today the reason the RNC isn't making an issue out of many of these things is because they are still trying to "set a new tone in Washington."
I'd say that train left the station over 2 years ago and it's time to go nuclear on the DNC.

Kean answered no and then said "People should stay out of our business". BIG mistake
To: cyncooper
Call Kean's son's office -- let them know who you feel. The tail wags the dog.

I heard--I am going to collect my wits and call the commission tomorrow.
Brit repeated the whole Kean quote that you and others posted.
Completely unacceptable and Kean certainly betrayed himself today---with that Ashcroft flying line of questions, and then this outrageous and arrogant statement after the hearing.
