TOPICS: News/Current Events
KEYWORDS: 911commission; gorelick; gorelickmemo
Gorelick believes in her own Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy when it comes to 911. She failed to let her fellow commission members in on the memo she herself drafted that made it impossible for the FBI and CIA to share intelligence knowledge.

Gorelick and Benvinesta (sp?) have severe conflicts of interest and should be removed from this Commission. We are not talking about politics here, we are talking about our National Security and our basic survival when it comes to making sure we can defend against and go after the Terrorists who want to kill us all. Any objective viewer of these hearings could easily conclude that Benvenista and Gorelick have an agenda, and preventing George W. Bush from a second term as POTUS is a higher priority than finding out what recommendations they can come up with that will improve our chances of stopping any further attacks like we saw on 9/11.
Why wasn't Janet Reno asked if she thought President Clinton's unsavory liaisons with a 19 year old intern prevented Bill Clinton from carrying out Constitutional obligation of protecting America from all enemies, both foreign and domestic to the best of his abilities?

Why wasn't Janet Reno asked ...Reno's session was a bizarre series of softballs. She fended off the important questions by (a) asserting she didn'd know what was or was not classified and (b) running the kind but forgetful granny act.
