I am very sorry to hear the murderer is out. I didn't know.
A friend of mine was murdered, along with both parents, when I was in high school. Their murderer (who was the older brother) was found guilty only of voluntary manslaughter, sentenced to 10-25 years, eligible for parole after eight. He was released in 1999, only because his sentence had finally expired. He served the full 25 years. Which is something, I guess, but how bad of an inmate do you have to be to not make parole in this day and age?
I have been expecting to hear he's killed someone else for five years now.

Which is something, I guess, but how bad of an inmate do you have to be to not make parole in this day and age? Crimes committed in prison (rape, assault, murder...) should be elligible for additional time in prison.
