Free trade. And pre-existing him doesn't give him an out. Riddle me this Batman: If we do away with free trade, and other countries do the same, do you think "Americans" will have more, or less, jobs? Would we have a better standard of living, or worse?
Just because we don't make buggy whips anymore, and the earth shoe factory closed down, doesn't mean the government should close the trade borders. Instead of wallowing in self pity, make yourself marketable to a company or start your own business. But your selfishness is very ugly. What's best for the country may not be what's best for some small percentage of US citizens. That small percentage needs to adapt. If not, you'll find yourself very unhappy and wanting to blame someone else for your stubborness and unwillingness to change.

false argument. Foreign countries build plants in our country to produce here, to compete here, to pay competitive US wages and they make good profit doing it.
But somehow playing by the same rules they do, you'd have us believe as companies cried to congress that they can't any longer make profits here so as Americans we're supposed to define "outsourcing" as - not going to another market to produce for that market, in that market and by it's rules; but, going there to produce in that market for the US market by someone elses rules.
Then you invoke the obsolescense argument. Doesnt' apply. My job didn't go obsolete. We were discriminated against for profit. We're being fired for being Americans. Somebody else has our job now. Really, you need to write new talking points. And nobody is saying to end trade. "free trade" needs to go. We became a superpower without it.
