They're costing Indian IT workers at 36k a year, and giving them 12k to replace 80k a year specialized - highly specialized coders here. People who are tops in the field with lots of degrees and certs behind them. Same thing is happening to me. Lost my job because I'm an American. Shall not discriminate based on race, color, creed or national origin. They didn't just want to get rid of American labor, they wanted cheap slave labor.
Want an education - go watch this Feb panel on abuse of h1 and L1 visas for the same reason. Ignore democrat and republican and listen to the panel. Is this compassionate conservatism? Profit isnt a bad thing; but, drug pushing is a bad way to make a profit, trading in people is a bad way to make profit, And this ain't but a smidgeon removed from sweatshops and slavery.
