It was a bitter pill to swallow. Maybe it was better on TV No, it was better on the radio - I walked away from the TV. Bush is being pumped by his handlers too much. When he got animated he sounded good, but often he did sound scripted.
I will say the speech sounded good.

Dubya is at his best when he is just talking like a regular guy. The press corps was the worst, worse than I have ever seen them, but he has to parry their shallow attacks better.
