The only thing I can fault with our President it that he always says he told the parents of the soldiers he would not let them die in vain....but in the reserve units, most are parents. I just find this terminology troubling.

Otherwise, he did great!

We all have parents. I think his sentiment reaches the big extended families and friends of all of our beloved soldiers. The gut feeling that you can so easily feel in your own heart when President Bush talks of our soldiers is unmistakeably honest. This is why I first liked George W. Bush and why I love him today. I feel this is a man of true soul! He will not let any American soldier to die in vain. I like the plain talk. That is how I feel and talk too. I tell you it is not easy to live all your life in Massachusetts knowing the likes of Edward Kennedy and John F. Kerry even still exist in running the state I have lived my whole life. I have been waiting for this President to come along for a long time and I proudly cast my vote in November for a team of intelligent, caring individuals to continue to keep this country strong.

It is not complicated....Keep America safe! God Bless America and God continue to bless and watch over our beloved sons, daughters, husbands, wives, brothers, nephews, sisters, nieces, grandsons, grandaughters, grandfathers, grandmothers, friends and loved ones of friends and neighbors and many whose names we do not even know.

That's kind of a funny criticism.

Because, as the mother of an active (and recently returned from Iraq) reserve, I've noted (though not been offended in the least by) the fact that he more often refers to the soldiers' spouses and children than he does their parents.
