I may be the proverbial optimist, but I still believe President Bush has not played his hole cards. I think he is letting this farce play out, and when the dims reach to grab their chips, he will say "not so fast, I believe a flush beats a fifth ace.

I'm in the same camp as you....President Bush is letting this play out (while I'm sure watching and doing what he can behind the scenes).....and will reveal other info later....closer to the election....heh...heh...heh.

I may be the proverbial optimist, but I still believe President Bush has not played his hole cards. Of one thing I am sure, President Bush will do the right thing whether he loses the election or not. And the right thing is to lance the Middle East boil.

I'm with you on this. The commission had done a wonderful job of discrediting itself with no help from the republicans.
If we go on the attack then their bias will be mitigated by our bias.
We remain honorable and dignified and let bent peniste and gorelick do their thing.
