Bob Barr works for the ACLU. He, of all people, would be the WRONG person for this panel.
He STILL thinks the Patriot Act was wrong-headed legislation.

You're probably right about Barr - he just came to mind as someone who is forthright and would cut through the BS. But I still think McCollum would have been a good choice.
