An excellent short summary of the whole tragic case, and I admire the way he has hit on the many 'side issue' controversies, such as the possiblility that MS was/is abusive, not to mention his demeaning remarks about his wife. But WHY did he have to make this error:
For instance, he has flaunted a 1996 court order
He means FLOUTED not flaunted. And no, I don't think I'm being picky. Even a little thing like that makes Terri's supporters look less 'worthy' of serious consideration. I wonder if this was the author's mistake-or if he used the right word and an ignorant proofreader or editor changed it to what he thought was the correct term?

He means FLOUTED not flaunted. Actually, he's probably done both (showing off the order defiantly, knowing nobody will do anything to actually uphold it) but even if so, you're correct that flouting would be the objectionable action.

Good point!Good night bump for Terri. May angels seen and unseen continue to guard, protect, and defend her so that she may sleep in peace and comfort tonight and every night.
On the other hand, may God work on the hearts and minds of those who plan and do evil against Terri. Shame on them.

May the good Lord shower Terri with the aroma of the fragrant
flowers that she was denied for Easter.
Touch her Lord in all her senses with your amazing love.
May your perfect justice be brought to bear in this travesty
of justice.
Wrap your everlasting arms around Terri and her family as this
madness continues. Let the truth of Terri's infinite value in your
eyes be proclaimed to the world!!

Good post. We may, or may never know what Terri is
looking at. She is a human being, and we could be
spending monies on worst things. I just hope the poor
woman can live in peace, and die with dignity.
God Bless Her.

The best article written about this matter to date. The author clearly and concisely well explains the issues most central to Terry Schiavo's situation.
Thank you for the excellent post.

I've read your prayers on the Threat Matrix thread - thanks for writing and posting them. I am sure many people derive solace and inspiration from them.
Terri's life is absolutely as valuable as every other human being's on the planet.
Secularist and worldly minded people judge the "value" of someone's life by humanly measurable standards, such as physical ability, strength, youthfulness, health, beauty, bank balance, profession, IQ, talents, and so on.
All these things, although perhaps admirable when used wisely and for good, are ephemeral, and vanish like fog in the sun. The real value of a human being is the eternal soul which is our real identity, the real "person", and is meant to live eternally in loving service to God. And every single being has that innate capacity, regardless of outside appearance or condition.
So Terri is just as precious and worthy as every single other person, famous or unknown, rich or poor, smart or uneducable, sick or strong.
May God bless her and all who care about her welfare.
