Anybody know how many NYU students and students from other colleges killed themselves in the last year? Why don't we point our fingers at the university ruling elite for this?

I found the following facts after a quick Google search. Apparently too many college students do not want to be in college, and should be sent back to their parent's homes.
Suicide is the second leading killer of college students - with an estimated 7.5 deaths per 100,000 students per year, according to a study of Big 10 campuses from 1980 to 1990.
Nationally, an estimated 1,000 college students -- out of a total of 15 million -- take their own lives each year.
