Boy what a great article !
This saves me all the research, this has bothered me deeply during these last few months.
Every time I Pray, I pray for our troops. I think about them constantly and have gotten into untold #'s of arguements about our involvement in Iraq
Have won all them btw.. I demand that people support our troops ! The demonrats need to shut the
%#@* up, plain and simple!
Hey Ragtime Cowgirl, Great graphics!!

"And let me say to the Vietnam veterans gathered here today: When you returned home, you brought solace to the loved ones of those who fell, but little solace was given to you. Some of your countrymen were unable to distinguish between our native distaste for war and the stainless patriotism of those who suffered its scars." - President Ronald Reagand, Remarks at Dedication Ceremonies for the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Statue, November 11, 1984.

During the Vietnam War there were those--many with the best intentions--who argued that the Army should not obey its orders and should refuse to serve in Vietnam. But their argument that soldiers should obey the "dictates of their conscience" is a slippery slope. At the bottom of this slope is military dictatorship." - General Fred C. Weyand."

"The eyes of the world did not flutter for a second. Stories of American atrocities were believed by whoever wanted to believe, no matter what actually occurred.... If the United States was seriously trying to win the battle of world opinion--well, then, you had a real bush-league operation. The North Vietnamese were the uncontested aces." - Tom Wolfe.

As the liberal media in this country increases it's attack on our President there will be a corresponding increase in the attacks on our troops in Iraq.
The time to make those responsible aware of the consequences of their actions is now, before any more troops are attacked.

Yeah, Rooney sure knows the art of propaganda.
4. If you could have a medal or a trip home, which would you take?
That question is a real canard. No soldier, no matter how patriotic or sure of his mission is going to say he/she would rather have a medal than a trip home. He knows that.
He also knows that once the answer is given, it can be spun into "See! They don't want to be here! They want to go home!" Rooney's sleaze knows no limit.
