We had the fingertip rule - which seems really short to me now, but didn't then.

And I remember how I loved Tuesdays, when I wore my Girl Scout uniform - it wasn't flippable!

If I remember correctly we had the fingertip rule in HS, and like my legs, my arms are on the long side, so my skirts always were so much longer than most of my friends....

To this day I still wear skirts/dresses shorter than the fingertip rule (not always, I do have many that are shin length)

We didn't have girl scouts where I grew up......but the Juniorettes were allowed to wear those uniforms on Tuesdays.....but they were just as flippable as the school uniforms.
