But this can't be!
The sleuths on FreeRepublic told me it was a fake!

Mr. Lucky says the uniform is wrong.

mass55th says "the original message was removed and a new one put in its place".

lonewacko_dot_com lives up to his name and says "this writing appears a bit too curvilinear".

So who is wrong? The sleuths on FR, or the Marines? Maybe these crack(head) sleuths can notify the Marines that this Lcpl does not really exist, and that the picture is an obvious fake!

The kids would likely have no idea what they were holding.

This is my full quote, which you saw fit not to use in your comment:

"Anybody knows that writing on cardboard with a pencil, especially as dark as this printing appears, will cause the pencil point to puncture the cardboard at various points. There are no pressure points or puncture points shown on this piece of carboard, which leads me to believe that the original message was removed and a new one put in its place."

I said it led ME to believe. I didn't force you to believe or accept MY opinion now did I? Or are you one of those individuals who can't think for themselves?
