Ever consider that it (the photo) is "real", the sign is "real", and just a very, very bad practical joke?
The Iraqi kids WOULD NOT ever used that vernacular nor that style in a cardboard sign.
But the fellow Marines would.
Particularly IF the joke was being pulled on the Marine smiling and waving next to the kids!

That's pretty much what I think.
The problem is, it will be used as a weapon against American troops stationed there. And that is too high a price to pay for a few laughs.
