"I have been to Paris," Kerry told the Senate, in quotes first reported by the Boston Globe. "I have talked with both delegations at the peace talks, that is to say the Democratic Republic of Vietnam and the Provisional Revolutionary Government." The Paris meeting also included representatives from U.S. ally South Vietnam.

Limbacher has this wrong. The two delegations Kerry refers to are the North Vietnamese and the Viet Cong. I have never read or saw anything that says he met with the South Vietnamese.

Did any of the Vietnamese communists who met with Kerry ever describe their conversations with the future senator?

I'd like to hear the commies' version of what happened. Specifically, what did Kerry tell them? Did Kerry tell them to take a tough line against the USA? Did he encourage them to keep holding American POWs?

If any of these Vietnamese officials are still alive, I'd love to interview them. Of course, at this point, they'd likely cover for their fellow traveller.
