Mel Gibson's bloody retelling of Christ's final hours
The author still doesn't get it. Or he/she doesn't want to. Still need to point at the "violence" versus the beauty of the sacrifice. Willful ignorance?

They're all looking at it through the eyes of 'the world'.Hardly.
This is what David Germain had to say about Kill Bill:
"Just as crowds laughed when John Travolta accidentally blew the head off a youth in "Pulp Fiction," they'll titter over much of the carnage in "Kill Bill."

Agreed!
The segment on Entertainment CNN really showed there Jealousy!. The idiotic reporters were stating that The Passion of Christ took the Box-Office draw because there was no compietition, due to the ALamo being so lousy (Which is true) anyways they said were tired of talking about "The Passsion! I just wanted to call the station and let them know long after CNN and all there reporters are GONE! The Passion will still be here, and it will still be the number one topic on everyone's mind...

TCM tonight at 8 EST is showing "The Alamo" with John Wayne.
I don't know if it is this computer I happened to be using today, but I can't get the front page of FR.

Now we are going to see how the movie-going public will treat "Passion" since the Lenten/Easter season is over. Let's hope and pray that it keeps rolling. Aside from the normal momentum left over from the Lenten/Easter season. I do hope it becomes the biggest movie of ALL-TIME. The best companion to the biggest best-selling Book of ALL-TIME, The Bible.

From the rest of the rest of the globe:
Passion of the Christ smashing records all across Latin America, playing very well in Eastern Europe, Meditteranean. Unfortunately, tickets prices and theatergoing pop in these countries are very low...
Bombing* in cash-cow states of Great Britain, France, Germany... Doing moderate in Far East (Oceania, Pacific rim), but no data from Japan yet.
(*"Bombing," here is a relative term... one might say it is doing quite well for a low-mid budget independent film.)

Amen, just because Hollywood thinks that the Holy Season is over they will also think so is "Christianity" Fat Chance, I hope Christians will continue on the path to promote the Gospels in every venue possible and continue to show the world how to be right with GOD through his son
Jesus Christ....
