Did anyone bother to explain to these people that in a Democracy they can choose what kind of system they want. The only thing were trying to impose is the very right to choose the things they were talking about in the beginning of this paragraph.

I don't think that's true, because it seems as if the Iraqis opposing us are a small minority. They wouldn't get what they wanted in a democracy, so they try to seize power by force instead.
