Because she is a legitimate scholar who goes where the facts lead her. She has a different opinion now of Clinton's actions or lack thereof, in the war against terrorism. I have read two of her books, "The War Against America: Saddam Hussein and the World Trade Center Attacks" and "Bush vs the Beltway." Mylroie makes a very compelling case that Saddam was involved in WTC I.

As Kabar said, she's just going where the facts lead her. That's the primary reason Clinton had no real use for her after his first campaign. He just didn't want to hear what she had to say, because he didn't want to go to war (polling data suggested that war was unpopular). When her theories began to materialize, he did everything in his power to cover-up the truth.
